This is a wonderful opportunity to experiment with using mantras in everyday life, and using them in ways that will create positive and lasting change in so many areas of your life. There are mantras that create inner peace, mantras that remove the obstacles that keep you from being all that you can be, mantras that connect you to your won divinity, your own power, your own success in the material world, there are mantras that create an opening within your heart so that you might create better relationships and deeper self love. There are mantras that assist students in increasing intelligence, mantras that bring material and financial abundance, mantras that create healing and destroy disease, mantras for just about everything you can imagine! Full Moon in Capricorn & Mystical Mantras for the Moon: Luminosity Foundation's Spiritual Olympics, Day Four: Day Four of The Luminosity Foundation's Spiritual Olympics: Today is Purnima Day, or Day of the Full Moon. The Moon in Vedic Astrology is the embodiment of the Mind, and the emotions associated with the mind. Our minds are generally alway s in a state of flux and change, just as the waves of the ocean are always in upheaval, yet deep under the surface of the ocean, the water is still and flows peacefully. How do we get the mind to calm itself and go below the surface of the turbulent waves of thought and emotion? We do this by calming the mind with a powerful sound that emanates a peaceful vibration. This is why mantra practice is so important and profound. By chanting a mantra that creates calm within the mind, the thoughts and emotions calm down and become quiet, and the mind becomes still. When the mind is still, it is much easier to perceive the nature of our own Divinity, beyond the perceptions of the mind. The Moon is the soul descended into matter, which it experiences through the sense mind and body. It is where we are the most easily hurt and the most vulnerable. The Moon shows the quality of our nurturing and our capacity to nurture others. It shows the clarity of our perceptions and how they are distorted as well as our basic desires to have peace of mind. The Moon is like the window we are looking through. Whatever affects the Moon, deeply affects our life and outlook. Today, the Moon is in the sign of Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn. This can give the mind the ability to be more disciplined, especially with spiritual practices such as meditation, mantra chanting, and Kirtan. The moon is in the nakshatra of Shravana, which has to do with hearing and understanding with is heard; it gives the ability to go beneath the surface of communication, and really understand what is being said, or expressed on a deeper and truer level. The Moon is also being blessed by an aspect from Jupiter and Mars, lending Grace to our practices, and an ability to go deeply within the Inner Self, the Higher Self, the Place where Grace Resides within us. This is the Grace that carries us Higher and Higher, into the Heart of Devotion, into the Utter Compassion & Selfless Love of Divinity, the Place where we are all One, and there is no Separation. Here is a Mantra for the Moon, which can be used on Purnima Day: Moon: The Emblem of Devotion: *Om Aim Kleem Somayea Namaha*

Day Five of the Luminosity Foundation's Spiritual Olympics: Today is Thursday, with the moon still full in totality but beginning to wane in Capricorn, in the Birthstar Dhanishta up to Aug 3, 8:13 AM. This birthstar is ruled by the Sun in Regal Leo, and has to do with Prosperity, Wealth and Honor, Royalty. Of course, money and wealth are the outward manifestations of prosperity, but they are not the only things that make one rich, and those riches are only temporary at best, dependent upon many conditions; they come and they go and are difficult to maintain in this world. As spiritual seekers, we must strive to Go Within and Dive for the Riches that are Eternal, and can't be taken away in bad times or once one's physical life ends. I am talking about the Riches that are found within the Vastness of the Heart and the Soul; your capacity to Establish and Maintain a Deep Inner Connection with the Wealth, Peace & Bliss that is ever-present in the Spiritual Heart and Soul; your own Eternal and Changeless Self. In that Place within you, the Currency of the Soul is not gold, money or possessions, it is not attached to any conditions and it is always available to you, and It Grows as you Grow. The Currency of the Soul is Pure Love and Light, Devotion, Bliss, Peace, Unity, Truth and Awareness. When we are in possession of these Riches, we are Kings and Queens of the Highest Royalty; Eternally Established in Our Own Royal Divinity. Out of these qualities, we always live in a state of Fulfillment and Equanimity, regardless of our outer circumstances. When that Inner State is Firmly Rooted Within You, the Wealth, Prosperity and Abundance we all seek, will naturally manifest in your Outer Experience, and you will find that your experience of Wealth will be different, because you will be satisfied with the Octaves of Wealth that Transcend simple money and possessions. In order to Maintain this Balanced State of True Wealth and Abundance, we must be excellent Gardeners of our Own Consciousness. We till the Soil of the Heart and the Mind, making sure that the soil is pure and fresh, and removing what should not be there. Then we add fresh nutrients, minerals, worms, and even manure (yes, the painful shit of life becomes a powerful alchemist and when used properly, creates the most Beautiful Blossoms and Ripe Fruit, giving the Roots Strength and Stamina!) Then, we lay the Seeds deep within the Ground (Mind) , cover it with more Soil and water daily (that means we lay the seeds of our intentions, then Utilize the Power of Faith and Trust by allowing the Seeds to sit in the darkness for a period of time, and restrain ourselves from digging them up and looking for progress! Our Love & Faith become the Water with which our Intentions Grow and Produce Amazing Fruit, and our Daily Discipline allows us to be Vigilant in spotting and Uprooting the Weeds of the Mind that will prevent our Garden from creating Healthy Fruits. The principle this represents is that when our individual consciousness is united with the Greater Reality, we can create and fulfill our desires instantly, by maintaining a Strong Intent. Today's Mantra is a special one, associated with the Growth and Stability of Inner and Outer Prosperity. Shiva & Parvati's son, Skanda, rules the transformation of instinct into Divine Wisdom. He is young and strong, holding sphere that always hits it's mark & returns to His hand. He is associated with strength, optimism, & auspiciousness. Hence, this mantra is often chanted by those in pursuit of Good Luck, and it is very powerful, indeed: "Om Shara-Vana-Bhaava-yea Namaha" This Mantra translates into 'Salutations to the son of Shiva, who brings auspiciousness to every endeavor." In His Emanation as Shambhu, Shiva is known for His immense Kindness, Generosity & Compassion, and His willingness to Grant Impossible Boons. The Principle Stems from the concept that when our individual consciousness is united with the Greater Reality or God-Head, and the qualities of the individual ego drop away, we Become that which we Seek, keeping in mind that as we grow spiritually, that which we seek for our own selfish needs becomes less important than that which we seek for the Greater Good of All.
