The Mystical Magician: Creating Abundance & Prosperity From the Inside Out
To a spiritual adept, one of the most basic tenants of manifesting the life we want is this: “What we dwell on most, we get.” Easy, right? What we think about and dwell upon within our mind and heart eventually becomes our reality. As within, so without. Simple. So simple, in fact, that most people don’t even realize what they are actually thinking about and dwelling upon most of the time. Yet, quite often, what we think about superficially (I‘m craving a large piece of deep chocolate truffle cake) and what we feel at an emotional level due to the thoughts about that cake craving (I’ve already gained 5 pounds since the holidays and none of my pants fit around my big, fat belly; and besides, I haven’t worked in months and the $6.00 a slice for that cake could fill my car with gas, so that I could go job hunting. I’m such a looser!) are quite often in deep conflict, if not all out war! So, as it turns out, this whole manifestation thing is not quite as simple as it seems, if we are really honest about it. In order to create what we deeply desire in life, we must be in harmonious alignment with our thoughts and feelings, along with what it is that we deeply desire. Secondly, we must know ourselves well, especially the parts of ourselves that likes to hide in the shadows, such as our fears. The needs & desires we have, and the thoughts & feelings they trigger, have many layers, and those layers that are deep below the level of our consciousness are the ones that have the most control over us. So, it is essential for us to be very clear as well as having a deep awareness of our own “stuff.” In order for that to happen, we must employ a way to control our thoughts and the feelings attached to them. Meditation and chanting are two ways in which the mind can gradually come under our control. We will explore some methods later in this article.
Manifestation is indeed both an Art and a Science. It requires that you have an ability to know what you want, with clarity and precision. It also requires that you can close your eyes and visualize scenes within your mind. If this is difficult for you, you may also employ the “feeling” aspect of yourself, so that you are deeply feeling what it is that you want to create. It is best & most effective if you can do both, visualizing what you want in combination with a deep emotional projection of what it feels like to have what you desire. You must really be able to feel as if what you desire has already manifested in the present. The emotional component is very important, as a powerful feeling nature is the rocket fuel that blasts your creation into manifestation. This may seem strange to you at first, but that’s O.K. Essentially, you have to pretend that you already have what it is you deeply desire! This is an esoteric spiritual practice, which means that it is a hidden teaching, not something that has been taught to everyone. In ancient times, only the well-prepared spiritual adepts were taught the hidden or occult arts.
It's so easy to let our minds be dragged down into scenarios created by our worst fears. If that's true for you, then remember that with just a little effort you can change that fear based scenario into a courageous & positive thought based success through visualization. Before proceeding with your visualization, get yourself in a quiet, relaxed environment. You can use some soft background music if it helps you relax. For at least 30 minutes, you must detach yourself from your normal world, and quiet your mind, so there are fewer and fewer thoughts flowing through your mind. At first, this will most likely be difficult. It helps to do some repetitive chanting of a mantra or a prayer that you can concentrate on. The idea is to achieve a singular focus in concentration. This practice will help to slow the flow of thoughts in your mind and get it ready for the practice of visualization. Your mind must be relaxed and at peace. Get ready to create in your mind what it is you want to have happen in actuality. It’s best to begin with just one simple goal, and work with it until it has manifested, such as visualizing a successful job interview. There’s lots of competition for this job, and you are the one that hits the ball out of the park! It’s very important to believe in what you are visualizing. Imagine that what you want to have happen is in the present moment, no in the future. This is very important! You need to create in the present, as if it already exists. When an architect creates a blueprint, it is an actual detailed picture of exactly the way the house will look when it is built. So, upon getting yourself alone and relaxed, close your eyes, surround yourself with an orb of golden light, say a prayer, chant to center and quiet the thoughts in your mind, and start to imagine whatever it is you want to manifest. Try to be as detailed as possible in your visualization, but don’t let yourself feel overwhelmed. Keep it simple but powerful. Feel the emotions of happiness, relief, contentment & joy of having the interview go so well. Be fully present in Now of the moment. Remember, this moment is our only point of power. Only the present moment exists as pure power in seed form. Now, plant those seeds within your mind by visualization of the desire as clearly as possible. Fully accept the images you create as valid and real. Give them the rocket fuel they need to blast off by deeply feeling the powerful charge of your emotional intensity! Once you’ve completed your visualization, let it go with the confidence that it was perfect.
Do not go back into it and harbor doubts or pick it apart & think of what other way you should have done it. By doing that you will just negate the effect of it. If you've never visualized before, that's all right because there is no better time to start than today! It's been said by many wise ones that the point of power is in the present. Pick a certain time you can do your visualizing and do it daily if possible. Don’t worry about doing it for a certain length of time. It doesn’t need to be lengthy. You’ll find that with time you will naturally get better at it. Be patient with it. You may find it takes some time before what you want to manifest will actually happen. Remember too, that visualization is an aid or tool for you to use. It’s not a magic trick. What happens is when you visualize, you are creating a blueprint that helps your thoughts manifest into actuality. It’s a natural process. Don’t forget that there are other factors at play in whether or not your visualization will manifest partially, fully, or even at all. You are still subject to your beliefs, your environment, and your karma. Keep at it & don’t get discouraged! Have Faith in your own efforts and in the Universe’s ability and desire to support you in your efforts to create! Remember, the entire universe is a process that is always under construction, and that we were meant to be Co-Creators with God, or Divine Source.
Right now, behind the scenes of our world, in our physical universe, there is a battle going on. This battle is between the Force of Light and the Force of Darkness. Now, as we are in the age of Kali Yuga, this battle has gotten even more intense. One perspective is that it is a battle being waged for the Minds of all humans. The Light supports our psychological and Spiritual Evolution and assists us in expanding our consciousness into Higher Levels. The Force of Darkness attempts to distract us into unconsciousness through all the manifold illusions of Maya. At its lowest level, when people get lost totally in darkness, they feel driven to commit evil acts that end up being dangerous for themselves and the rest of us as well. When one begins to perform advanced spiritual/ metaphysical practices, it is not uncommon for doubts to come in, fears to crop up and pester you, distractions to take you from your goal. Consider it a good sign! It means you are on the right path! Persist in your efforts with more determination than ever! Don’t let anything stand in your way!
For those of you who want to go deeper in strengthening the Force of Light and Love within you, we have some suggestions:
1. Spiritual Practices:
1. Prayer: This is probably the most popular & most universally used practice that most people around the world are familiar with. Prayer, said silently or aloud, is a form of supplication to whatever Deity you choose to worship. It can be done individually or as a group, with or without ritual.
B. Affirmations: Affirmations are another popular form of practice that has been gaining in popularity recently. Spiritually, I was raised partly on a book of affirmations from Christian Science, since my mother was an informal practitioner of the religion. Positive and/or Spiritual Affirmations can assist one in having a better outlook on life. They can, if repeated from a deep space within you even promote healing.
C. Meditation: One method consists of stilling the mind by focusing on your breath. When thoughts arise, one tries to observe them from a detached point of view. Another method is to quietly focus your mind on your chosen deity and allow them to still your mind for you. There are many different stages of meditation and everybody has their own individual experience of what meditation is like for them, especially when starting out.
D. Mantra: The chanting of Sacred Sanskrit Mantras is another practice. Though you can usually get a translation of what the mantras mean in your own language, it is more powerful if you learn to chant them in Sanskrit. Mantras can be as short as only one, two, or three words or syllables. A word or verse is repeated for a certain number of times. Like prayer, mantra repetition can be done out loud or silently, individually or in a group. Probably the most popular Sanskrit Mantra that people are familiar with is ‘OM’ meaning God. Mantras are like Spiritual Prescriptions that you receive from a spiritual teacher, Vedic priest, or Spiritual Guru. There are different mantras designed to help you with different life issues. There are mantras for prosperity, which will definitely assist you with your efforts at manifestation by adding great spiritual power to boost your visualizations. We will attach a Lakshmi Mantra for you to listen to and utilize with your daily visualizations. Lakshmi is the Goddess of Prosperity & Wealth. Her mantra should be chanted with complete concentration after the mind has been quieted, and either before or after you do your visualization.
Lakshmi Gayatri Mantra:
Maha Lakshmi Gayatri Mantra:
Om MahaLakshmyai Ca Vidmah...e
Vishnupatnyai Ca Dhimahi
Tanno Lakshmi Pracodayat!
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shantih
www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTdwrs_TzcA
E. Homa: A Homa is a sacred fire ceremony usually done by someone with special training or knowledge of how it is performed. They will utilize the practice of mantra chanting as previously described. Mantras for different aspects of the Divine have different beneficial effects. For example, Ganesh Mantras are used for removing obstacles while mantras to Lakshmi are for wealth and abundance. By chanting mantras in front of the fire, their power is multiplied many times over for the Homa practitioner chanting them and any person or group who may be chanting with them at that time. Homas are so powerful, they can be used to change weather or clear large amounts of negative energy from a place. Not very well known in the West, Homas are practiced widely in India.
F. Spiritual Guru: This is a person who has realized a very high state of consciousness within themselves, through much strenuous effort within their lifetimes. They are said to have reached a certain degree of self – realization. Even more powerful Gurus are known as Avatars. They are born as pure incarnations of the Divine and fully Self – Realized. They are literally embodiments of God in a Human Body. If it is their mission, Avatars can take on huge numbers of people as devotees or disciples. These Beings have vast Divine Energy. When you come to see an Avatar, with an attitude of openness and love, you may be surprised at what you experience. Their energy will immediately start having a purifying effect on you. An Avatar usually gives you an opportunity to have a very brief one-to-one meeting with them where they can focus their Divine Energy on you, known as Darshan. If you approach them with an attitude of surrender & openness, they can be of immense help in expediting your spiritual growth. Avatars never declare they are of a certain religion. Nor do they announce they are here to start a new religion. They are World Teachers, and they generally have a Universal approach; a spiritual approach rather than a religious approach. They each have different methods of working with their devotees and may prescribe certain practices like mantra repetition. Such an Avatar alive today is Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, known more commonly as ‘Amma’, or "The Hugging Saint.” Amma is from India, but spends most of her time traveling and touring the world to give Her Darshan(the Blessings of a Spiritual Master) to others. She tours Europe and the United States twice a year. There are many others who are here in the world right now as well, working selflessly to support the Earth and Her Children through this powerful transition we are in. Seek them out!
May This be the Beginning of a Path Filled with Hope, Inspiration, Faith & Deep Inner & Outer Happiness & Contentment for Everyone.

An Affirmation to Reflect on before your Daily Visualization :
Affirmative Prayer for Freedom from Fear
I know that Spirit is the only and ultimate reality. And in the eyes of Spirit, I know that every negative condition of the past is swept aside. Spirit doesn't see it, and I refuse to see it or think about it. Yesterday is no longer here; tomorrow never comes. Today is the day. This day is my day, bright with hope and filled with promise.
Today my heart is without fear. I have implicit confidence in the good, the enduring, and the true. Today I shall guard my thought and speech; I shall keep my consciousness steadfast with the realization that there is a spiritual power on which I may rely.
I turn resolutely to that divine source which knows no confusion, to that spiritual center which knows no fear. Spirit is not afraid of anything, the divine has no enemies, and spirit knows no opposites. Consciously, I draw close to my divine center, the source of all that is. I feel the warmth of its presence.
I enter into a faith made perfect through love and confidence, an assurance made complete by the abandonment of myself to good. Acknowledging good in all my ways, desiring only the good for others, I rest in calm assurance. I open my consciousness to the realization that all the power and presence there is clothes me in its eternal embrace; that the spirit forever imparts its life to me.
I believe in myself because I believe in God. I believe in my destiny because I know that the Law of Good is operating through me. I have confidence in the future and enthusiastic expectation of good things to come. Therefore, I accept the fullness of life this moment. And so it is.
