And speaking of PEACE; now more than ever, it is necessary in these turbulent times, to cultivate a stable reservoir of Inner Peace, a peace that can not be shattered by any outer circumstance. Believe me, I would have never thought that it was possible to cultivate such a peace, even though I have always had a very deep inner connection with spirit. My mind had a tendency worry, and carry problems and project fears into my world. Like the Holy Grail, I thought that this kind of Inner Peace was nothing more than a beautiful myth. Yet, behind all myths, there is a Shining Golden Nugget of Truth. Peace of mind is a Priceless Gem, & more precious than Gold. Rediscovering our inner world is like finding the Holy Grail. It is our BirthRight as Human Beings, and it is really the natural state of the human mind to be at peace, resting always in the Sweet Light and Great Humming Silence of it's own Divine Nature. But we have lost that state, and now that state is as foreign to us as an alien language. We are bombarded constantly with a cacophony of stimulation from the outside world; so much so that we have lost our innate connection to the Beautific Inner landscape within us, a land where the Light of our Souls illuminates and basks us into a natural state of peace, relaxation, healing and joy.
When one lives a life that is deeply seated in that deep place of peace within himself, and uses the inner world as a place from which to perceive the outer world, there is a natural peace and ease in life. But this is not the case today. Now people have lost that connection to the heart centered inner world. The first thing they do in the morning when we wake up is turn on the radio, the TV, the cell phone, the computer & read the newspaper. Everything in today’s world is designed to draw us outward, and keep us outward. Yet, our source of true power and delight comes from within, through our inner connection with our eternal nature, our Divine Roots.
The Path of Spirit requires us to turn away from the attachments of the outer world so that we can open the door to our own inner nature, and regain the peace and balance that has been forgotten. It beckons us to return to our abode within, and become reacquainted with our own inner kingdom, a Sovereign Haven of Comfort and Peace. When one meditates, one is consciously closing the door to the outer world, and opening the door to the inner world. Your desire to find lasting peace and happiness is the key to that door. Without the key, there is no way to open the door. You must have a deep desire to transform your experience of life. Meditation means turning your back to the outer world for a period of time, and making a sacred pilgrimage to the world within you. Believe me, at first, this will be no small task. It is rather like getting on a really pretty pony and looking forward to a wonderful ride through the woods, and once on the pony, you find that it has a mind of it’s own, taring off through the woods of it’s own accord, bucking and jumping and trying to throw you off at every opportunity!
It is something you come to realize, that you have absolutely no control over.
That pony is your mind and all it’s thoughts. Our minds have not been trained to control the flow of thoughts; in fact mostly our minds have been give free reign to all thoughts, and when one first begins to try and “meditate”, one becomes acutely aware of just how many thoughts are endlessly zipping through our minds, all at the same time, with no regulation what-so-ever. Have you ever tried to then control the flow of thoughts in your mind? What happens when you do? Usually the thoughts come with even more vengeance. The mind fights back with ever more thoughts. It is then that one realizes just how uncontrolled our minds really are, and how little peace we really have. True peace can only begin to take root when we have learned how to control the thoughts, and that takes practice....lots of practice. But the payoff is worth it’s weight in gold. As the thoughts begin to slow down, like storm clouds parting, the light of our divine nature begins to shine through the darkness of the mind, and illuminate our life from within. With practice, attention and consistent, daily meditation , the mind slowly begins to relinquish all unnecessary thoughts, and more and more Light begins to break thought the dark, dense mind stuff, while peace descends, and one begins to Shine, from deep within. The mind learns how to deeply rest and even the breathing and heart rate slows down. Deep peace becomes more of a constant state as the outer world slowly loses it’s grip on us, and our thoughts no longer hold us prisoner.

In terms of cultivating a lasting peace within your own heart and mind, it is immensely helpful to learn and practice a sound meditation technique; one that has stood the test of time, and comes from the awakened wisdom of a True Master, or Saint. There are many such Realized Masters here in the world at this pivotal juncture in time. There are Masters present on Earth at this time from every major world religion; some masters are world teachers and are highly publicized & in the news, and others who do their work quietly and go relatively unrecognized. There are even some who are dwelling on Earth in their subtle body, and their work is to maintain the Delicate Balance between Gaia and Her Children, and to maintain the Well Being of Gaia. All of these Masters and Saints are direct incarnations of the Divine, have many divine powers (which most true masters and saints will never overtly demonstrate) and have the power to support and transform us in ways that no mere human being can. These Realized Masters and Saints have a complete union in consciousness with the Divine, and can therefore take upon themselves the difficult karma of their students, have the power to heal, to reform, to refine and to accelerate the development of those people they are working with. They have full knowledge of past and future, are omniscient, and omnipresent, and they have no ego so they are in no way self serving. Every breath they take is for the benefit of the world. Christ was one such World Teacher, and demonstrated His mastership in many ways. These Masters are here in the world now, and are supporting& promoting the Great Purification and the Great Leap in consciousness through which we are currently passing.
It is a great gift to be in the presence of such a Master/Saint. Many are even here in the form of The Great Divine Mother, and travel around the world to see their devotees, and care for them in a myriad of ways. I would strongly encourage everyone to seek out these Blessed Ones, and be in their Divine presence. They not only have the ability to transform your heart and your mind, but they also assist with your material progress in the world. Their Grace is multifaceted, and can assist you not only in spiritual matters, but also in subtle ways that improve your life in every way, including materially. Meditating with such an Exalted Being is pure Bliss, and is a healing balm in every way. Their Light, Love, Truth, Grace, Wisdom and Immense Generosity transforms lives and heals bodies, hearts & minds. Your Soul will Soar, and reach heights one never dreamed of. Learning meditation from such a Great One is the Greatest Gift that could ever be given, and transforms you from the inside out. Give yourself this gift, and don’t stop till you find the One with whom who you resonate. You will never be the same, again.
May Peace Prevail On Earth!
May All Sentient Beings Everywhere have Peace and happiness!
May there be an End to All Suffering!
Om Shanti, Shanti Shanti Om
