Good Morning to All,
Well, it is hard to believe that we are already a whole week into September! I have been having some technical issues with the forum in the past few days, and I have lost a few of the documents I have been working so hard on, hence it appears that I have not been on the forum in a few days. Oh the joys of a retrograde Mercury!
The past few weeks have also been extremely difficult in terms of earth symptoms as well, and I feel that we will be seeing an unprecedented (in magnitude and in scope) amount of earth changes, as Gaia is agitated and there is a lot of new Earth pushing up from under the old, creating new fault lines. Such was the quake in New Zealand.
The Pacific plate is gradually being pushed beneath the Australian plate, which caused the massive earthquake. The quake occurred on a previously undetected fault line. New Zealand sits above an area where two tectonic plates collide. The country records more than 14,000 earthquakes a year - but only about 150 are felt by residents. Fewer than 10 a year do any damage. It's last major earthquake registered magnitude 7.8 and hit South Island's Fjiordland region on July 16, 2009, moving the southern tip of the country 12in closer to Australia.
Just in the past four days we have been seeing a big increase in quakes, flooding, wild fires, storms and volcanic eruptions, mostly in the regions I have been talking about; New Zealand, Australia (they are now getting some massive flooding) PNG (with constant, grinding quakes with magnitude of 5 plus) Indonesia (Volcanic eruptions and continuous earthquakes):
Above, the Mount Sinabung volcano spews smoke as seen from Suka Nalu village in the district of Tanah Karo, Indonesia's North Sumatra province, September 3, 2010. The Indonesian volcano that lay dormant for 400 years erupted yet again on Friday, shooting a mushroom-shaped plume of smoke 3 km (2 miles) into the air and prompting the second evacuation of terrified residents.
The Ring of Fire:
The South Pacific Islands, found within the Ring of Fire (Vanatau, Tonga, Fiji) are constantly having moderate to large quakes in the past few months, and active volcanoes. The Ring of Fire is clearly the most seismically active area of the globe, as tremendous forces are at work here, and it can be used a barometer for what is taking place within the Earth. This map shows the Earth's Tectonic plates, and the Ring of Fire Regions, which is where magma from deep within the earth rises up through Volcanic cones. This creates extreme instability, and it is where we are seeing extreme activity:
Compare that map to the map below, which is a USGS map of the Earthquake activity from the last seven days:
We can see that the western side of the map, through the Ring of Fire has been extremely unstable, along with the northern part of the Ring of Fire. Yet, there has been an oddly quiet area of the Ring of Fire, the west coast of the USA. I expect to see this region intensify quite a bit, as many Earth Sensitives have been getting symptoms for this part of the Ring of Fire for quite a while now. I feel that the Pacific North West will become much more unstable soon, as well as California. Alaska and the Arctic regions are extremely unstable as well, causing some serious problems; this is a region which could, under the right conditions, cause catastrophic problems, including a rapid melting of the polar ice cap as volcanic eruptions continue to take place there; this would really rock our world with inundations of melted ice cap plunging into the Atlantic Basin. In addition to this area of the ROF, further south to Mexico, Central America & South America, all very active, and will continue to be unstable, with not only quakes, but also volcanoes and massive flooding. Look at what is happening in Guatemala right now. They had a series of quakes, then flooding and landslides, and then another earthquake, and more flooding & landslides. A very difficult situation, and many are losing their homes. Flooding adds lubrication to the plates, which makes the earth more prone to quakes.
Yet we will see that this a common pattern with Gaia as She goes through Her labor; an immensely difficult process for She and for us. Yet there is inherent growth in all of this turmoil, just as there is in all the processes of life and death. Spiritually, even death is not a permanent state, it is simply a stage of transmutation from one form to another. Change and transformation come as we encounter the energies of the process of transmutation on the earth plane, and it is with the experience of these forces that we crack, we stretch, we break open, we grow beyond our current understanding, using these forces of the earth plane to push us forward. It is our resistance to this process that creates difficulties and maladies of the mind, body, heart and soul. We must learn how to surrender to all that life offers us, and yet surrender is the greatest challenge. The Ring of Fire, am interesting term, for fire is the greatest of the forces of transmutation. The heat of the fire burns all the old useless structures to the ground, reducing everything to ash, to it's most basic form. Then, out of the ashes there can arise a Great Phoenix, whose wings carry it high into the realms of air and spirit, free to explore the heavens. Thus fire is the Divine Agency of Change.
From Wikipedia about The Phoenix:
"A phoenix is a mythical bird that is a fire spirit with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet (or purple, blue, and green according to some legends). It has a 500 to 1000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. In some stories, the new phoenix embalms the ashes of its old self in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis (literally "sun-city" in Greek). It is said that the bird's cry is that of a beautiful song. In very few stories they are able to change into people."
